RE-using armor - Guild Wars Forums

All right, another stupid question... See, i'm still pretty new at playing GW, and i decided to go for a warrior. The only other class i hadn't tried yet was mesmer, so i decided to pick that for my secondary profession.

Aftr the searing i soon realized the two classes really don't blend well at all, and just stuck with being a flat out warrior with nothing to do with my secondary profession. Now i've gotten almost to level 20 and have spent one helluva time getting expensive armour and weaponry, only to realize how damn useful it would be to have monk or necro as a secondary proffesion.

So here's my question:
Could i take all of my armor and weapons and customized crap, put it in my storage, then delete the character. Then remake the character with the exact same name and primary proffesion.

Since the stuff says "customized for so and so" if i use the same name then could i use it with my other character?

No, you can't use the armor on another character even if it's the same name and primary.

You could just do a Path quest after you Ascend which allows you to change your secondary profession.

No, once an item is customised for a character it is specific to that one only. If you are as far as you say go to ascension. At which time you will be allowed to change your secondary to monk with no downsides. (Or so I have been told, still trying myself to get past that stage)

I would say no.....but I would try it with a new low level character to see if it works.
That way you don't lose all that hard earned armor.

just ascend then u can go back to i think its heroes audence or one of thoughs towns and u can do a quest to make ur guy a W/mo or W/N also W/R isnt a horrable combo, but yea no u cant let another one of ur chars where ur guy's armor.....i dont like that.
